I guess since the cat is out of the bag, you can see why I have been MIA on the blog. I am drifting around in a first trimester haze, unlike any I have ever been through before. This is my third time round, thinking it would be easier; it’s been the toughest and most draining. You-whoo calling Michelle Duggar, share the secret, you baby machine you.
Here are some of the random things that have been going around here:
My kids are watching way more television that we would normally allow, so I can snooze.
I drink water like a camel.
Sleep is a whole other issue, it’s hot, I can’t get comfortable, and I’m up for no reason at all at the strangest hours.
Cleaning and laundry are lucky to receive thirty minutes of attention if any at all.
We have eaten out more in the last two months than we have in an entire year.
I am down to dressing out of a Rubbermaid bin labelled “Maternity Clothes”.
Award Winning Dad looks somewhat close to death, working his day job, and his second job “MOM” from 5pm –the next morning.
We had our first ultrasound, and it still feels as exciting as the first time I had one.
The boys are hugging the baby, and talking about it which melts my heart.
Oh yeah, I am so frickin’ tired!
